Application Guide

Woodworking machinery combines relatively high belt speed with fine dust and limited guarding space. Saws, planers, sanders and auxiliary spindle drives need a pulley that matches the belt section, shaft and speed ratio without creating tracking problems inside the guard.

Woodworking machinery combines dust, compact guarding and often relatively high belt speed. Where the machine specifies the 12.7 × 10 mm SPA section, keep that profile fixed and verify pitch diameter, groove count, shaft fit and clearance around sawdust-prone guards and extraction equipment.

Confirm keyway, shaft diameter and bush/solid-hub choice from the existing machine.

Installation and maintenance checks

For retrofits, measure the existing pulley before changing mounting type. The same nominal diameter can have a different hub projection or overall width, which may interfere with guards or adjacent bearings.
