A useful sourcing checklist focuses on the dimensions and documents that determine whether the pulley will work in the machine. Country of origin is not a substitute for an engineering specification.
Send an unambiguous model or drawing
Use the full pulley profile, datum diameter and groove count. For EVER POWER catalogue enquiries, include the EP- model prefix plus the shaft bore.
Confirm the standard reference
If the purchase order requires ISO 4183, DIN 2211-1 or a customer drawing, state the exact reference and edition where applicable.
Define the shaft interface
Finished bore, keyway, taper bush and any fit requirement should be written in the RFQ rather than left to assumption.
Define inspection evidence
Ask for the dimensional report, material documentation or balancing record only when your quality plan needs it. This makes the quotation comparable.
Check packing and identification
For multi-model orders, require clear part labels and packing lists that use the same model/SKU convention as the purchase order. This reduces receiving errors without inventing claims about stock or delivery times.
